Daily Bread
Throughout the liturgical year, the Church has designated certain days to the celebration of the holy men and women that have gone before us.
This page is designed to bring you to a deeper familiarity of who they are. Every day that the Church dedicates to a certain saint, or group of them, we here at Gibraltar Catholic Youth will post a short bio, and occasionally a video, about those whom we celebrate.
As St Paul says in his letter to the Hebrews: "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us." That "cloud of witnesses" is the Communion of Saints. They have overcome — Let us also!
